Ashamed, not me

I used to find when I was living with my parents and somebody asked me for my address, there would occasionally be an awkward pause after I had told them the name of the village I lived in (New Haw), often followed by a question along the lines "How do you spell 'Haw', with a 'W'!?!?” Well today while trawling through the infinite encyclopaedia of people who have it worse than you (aka 'The Internet'), I found this:

'Stop stealing our F**king signs'

Which makes 'New Haw' sound almost holy. I would love to meet a Mr. or Mrs. F. I don't think I would stop giggling for a good month after I'd met them!

I just looked at those spams for something to do - bloody hell, 'Catroon Animal' (not joking) haven't even tried! As for the Satellite TV one, what is that about?

No way to stop SPAM except to stop anonymous comments, but that probably won't stop it and I don't want to limit comments to just people with blogger accounts. After all Nat, you account for about 50% of my comments and without that it would seem like I have hardly any friends!

Can you not screen anonymous comments, as I do? It seems to remove most possibilities of spam... and as a bonus, makes you look like a paranoid misanthrope too!

I was disappointed today. Out of 5 'random' LiveJournals, all were literate. (Albeit some being in Russian.) Where's all the text-speak and the "friends only, comment to be added?" gone?

No, I don't think that there is a way of screening comments on blogger, they are either on or off. I don't really mind too much as it sin't too intrusive at the moment. Also I hate it when you comment on somebody's blog but your comment doesn't appear straight away.
