How to blow £400 in a week
This week I have spent far too much money. Although I haven't quite exercised all of my overdraft extension, it is going to be a very close call as to whether or not I make it till graduation without the need to pimp out my body for extra cash.
Since last Thursday I have:
- Been to the Cornwall (petrol & pub lunch)
- Been to a posh restaurant (Zest, very expensive)
- Been to a posh bar (Brazz, only one drink, so not too bad)
- Been to a summer ball (just drinks, taxi and dry cleaning costs)
- Been to another posh restaurant (Carved Angel (or something like that), again very posh). Below is a picture of Kat and I at the restaurant. I had the duck which was the second most expensive thing on the menu (very, very tasty) and a bottle of wine.

- Been to the cinema
- Been to the seaside (just ice-cream costs)
- Been to a nightclub (Timepiece, not too expensive)
- Been to the seaside again (petrol and lunch)
- Had a Chinese (takeaway, but still more expensive that eating from my own fridge)
- Been to another nightclub (Warehouse, very expensive.... beer badger replaced all my (many) notes with small change)
That is all..... It may have cost me my food budget for the next 3 years, but to be honest I wouldn't have changed it for the world. What a very enjoyable week and a great way to see off most of my friends in Exeter who have all left for home this weekend.
