God is coming

Last night we had the most amazing display of weather. I was wondering back from No. 53 at half past three in the morning, the sky clear and the air cold & dry. I remember seeing these huge flashes of light emanating from behind the hills over Exeter. I assumed it was some kind of mega rave on the outskirts of town. An hour later and I was purring away snug in my bed when I was rudely awoken by the sound of thunder. There was one hell of a storm raging outside my window. I attempted to transport my rather intoxicated body over to the window to have a look but unfortunately fell over and decided that I could spend the entire night trying to navigate around the obstacles in my dark room much to the detriment of my shins. So I buried my head under my pillow managed to dose off again.

In the morning I found these photos of the storm. I wish I was outside to see it myself. It certainly sounded as good as the photos look.
