The positive side to global warming
I'm just about to head out to the shops. Have checked out the window at the weather. The sky is mostly blue, the temperature is about 15-18oC, and it is hailing. Should I take sun-cream or a sledge?
If this is a side effect of global warming, then I am all for it. I am bored with the old predictable weather. This is far more exciting than, 'Warm = rain, Cold = snow". This could lead to snow in the summer, wouldn't that be great.
Suddenly the war on Iraq suddenly makes sense. We invade, create huge military bases to influence all oil producing countries in the region to give us cheap oil so that we can have snow ball fights in August. For once I can understand Bush's and Blair's logic!

Some fecking use a sledge turned out to be. The hail turned to rain not snow. I got wet and looked like a tit with my snow gear. I won't bother delveloping anymore meterological theories if this is the outcome.
Not meaning to sound rude, let me spell it out all people who don't get the OIL thing:
IT IS RUNNING OUT. AS THERE IS LESS, DEMAND BECOMES MORE, PRICES GO UP. It's a shame I know, but learn to live with it. I love my petrol engines, so much more fun than electric cars. But that's life. It’s also not too good for the environment.
Why can't people accept that the Iraq war is about oil or more accurately, a power influence in the middle east to moderate oil prices. This is why we went to war. Why do you think we are frightened of WMD. Because if Sadam had started to blast his neighbours, then oil prices would have gone up. But it turns out he didn't even have those.
Now I have no problem if you think that oil needs to be cheaper and that the west has a right to oil etc. That is your opinion. But why oh fucking why, must you believe what politicians tell you??? World leaders have been lying to their people for years. It gets things done. Both socialist and conservatives do it. It is a way of controlling the proles.
So I have one request. If you have the ability to do a Su Doku puzzle (therefore you have a decent level of intellect) PLEASE don't try to defend governments for what they say, but rather what they do. Rant over.
PS: This is not aimed at Oregano (I like his blog), but at everybody.
PPS: The beauty of CNF, is because it is a dictatorship we don’t have to lie.
Oh and in answer to Oregano question. Patience my dear America, you are still setting up a peaceful Iraq, once that is done (about 2040 at this rate), you'll be able to extract cheap oil.
