Satire and Australia and what might be a tooth

Good day. Anybody who has been reading this blog may remember a site called TheOnion which I recommended. Well I have found a few more similar sites.

Firstly one which my sister-in-law recommended, which is really just the UK version of the the Onion:

Also I discovered a rather ruder version, but also very funny. This one is published in Australia:

http://www.newsonline.com.au/

I like the Australian sense of humour, although I must admit that sometimes they just use the F word too much, but hey ho who am I to judge? I am currently applying for a job and sponsorship for a masters degree in Melbourne, so I too may become one of them. [Anybody reading this who knows anything about Melboure or the university please leave comments with any useful information. ]

In other news....

Today I went out with my brother and his wife who had come to visit my third world county. We went to a very busy pub and left, then went to a very unbusy pub and ate food that explained the unbusyness. Was a good giggle though, as we were meeting up with their friend Steve who told the very funny story (I don't think it was supposed to be funny, but I have no compassion) about how he wrote off his old car last year by driving into the side of a lorry he had failed to see at 10mph. In his defense it was raining, and this is something not common in the UK.
I also discovered (with my tongue) that I may have a new tooth appearing at the back of my mouth. Very exciting, much like an unexpected financial present from my parents.

The geneva convention prohibits me from getting any wiser on the grounds that if I was to become evil, I would very likely become an unstoppable "Evil Genius". Bloody swiss!
