I wear short shorts

Wow, I can't believe the weather today, it's so nice. It was also nice yesterday but I wasn't allowed to go out and frolic in the sun due to essay related constraints. But today I walked to campus in shorts for the first time this year. Look at the bbc weather site if you don't believe me....

18 oC not bad for March!

Also, it seems that an extreme hangover mixed with a portion of curly fries and a packet of refreshers is the winning combination for me as I beat my mate James at squash, 3 games to 1. Although this was not due to my amazing fitness or skill but rather that he was playing with all the grace of Ann Widercombe on an exercise bike. (most unlike him, he beat me last week and he doesn't even look like her!)

I saw a girl in the uni beer garden whom I had met for the first time last Sunday in the pub as she joined our quiz team. Today I was wearing my Weeble and Bob "Thrusty Trusty Rocket" t-shirt (see http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/ if you are unaware of the genius that is W &B). Anyway, we had a little chat and she pointed out that she liked my t-shirt. Great (I'm thinking!). She then points out that I was wearing it on Sunday. I quickly pointed out that it had been washed since (actually the truth surprisingly), but she gave me a look that suggested she didn't believe me. Oh well, maybe I should be like those famous people who can never wear the same thing twice as Hello magazine will slate them for it? Anyway needless to say I don't think I impressed her. But then again, I NEVER know what women are thinking so I could be wrong.

Knowing the little I do about women (being one myself) I think you should feel flattered that the quiz team girl noticed what you were wearing both on Sunday and today! As long as the t-shirt looked (and smelt) clean, thats the main issue.

Besides, I can vouch that you washed it - I was the one who folded it up out the tumble dryer

It was clean, although on the Sunday, it may have had a slight yellow stain as I had managed to spill the banana that I was eating while driving earlier in the day down the front of it.
